High Country Miniatures has produced over 75 (individual) AMHA and AMHR National Champions since 1988 and is recognized as a leading producer of champions. As a breeder we limit production to 10-20 foals per year and concentrate on quality instead of quantity. Our most recent championships include 2 consecutive AMHR National Grand Champion Senior Stallions: 2003-HCM Thunderstruck and 2002-HCM Navajo’s Dream Catcher. Both of these fine stallions have taken top honors in harness. HCM Navajo’s Bold Idea 2003 AMHR Reserve Grand Open Pleasure Driving Stallion 32 - 34"
"HCM" horses are widely recognized as top show ring competitors because of their perfect conformation, beauty and motion. Want to drive a winner? Start with a natural mover. "HCM" horses are bred to excel in halter and performance. Our 16 year breeding program has always been based on producing horses which are beautiful, correct conformationally and are powerful movers. We have used only stallions and mares which produced and pass on these traits. Our stallions go back to Bond Showboy, Chianti, Gold Melody Boy and Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan; some of the finest contributors of great motion in the miniature horse breed. So, when you are looking for a conformationally correct horse with natural outstanding motion - remember that is what we do best. We have consistently produced National Top Ten and Futurity halter and performance winners year after year. Web site - http://www.AmericanMiniatureHorse.com/
