We have priced our horses very reasonably and in many cases have greatly reduced the prices in consideration of the current high cost of transportation.  In doing so, we will hold firm on these prices and they will not be open to offers. (unless otherwise noted in their individual description)  We will however, consider discounts for multiple horse purchases.  Thank you in advance for your understanding.

I would really like to get some horses sold since an overseas buyer had to back out of a multiple horse sale, leaving me with several more horses than I had anticipated on having at this point in the year, and because I didn't know things would result this way, I was not able to advertise them all Spring & Summer.

Will consider trades on a 32"-34" LOUD Appaloosa (large spotted blanket or leopard) mare or filly, and/or a very well broke driving gelding.  Prefer pinto, in the 33"-35" HEIGHT RANGE.  Must be a VERY safe, stable, dependable driving horse in noisy fast moving TRAFFIC!  Let me know what you have and maybe we can work something out.

Reduction Sale

Meadowind Miniatures began raising Miniature horses in 1990 as a family venture and have become well respected in the Miniature Horse Industry. Due to a busy schedule and wanting to spend more time with family and Grandchildren, Heather & Rod Hart have decided they will reduce the number of horses in their herd. This is by no means a dispersal and they will continue to breed & show many fine Miniatures in the years to come.

 AMHA reg. 29. inches tall, chestnut.  Born April 1997, She is 11 years old.  Penny has had several foals.  She has been bred to my  Buckeroo bred buckskin stallion and has not cycled since.  So I stongly suspect that she is in foal for 2009.  She is a good broodmare and foals with no problems.  On the shy side till she gets to know you and then she is fine. 

Penny is a daughter of AMHA National Champion Wind Songs Royal Flush by Skip A Star.

Freespirit Buckeroo Mustang

AMHA,  28.5 inches tall, Born May 19/94   So just turned 14.  Buckskin stallion, great mane and tail.  He is very good with his mares and foals and you can leave him in with them.  I have several filly's by him and all exceptional looking, so I have to keep them!   If bred to a bay he produces a buckskin.  He was tested as (nCr) meaning he is Heterozygous for the cream dilte gene by the Animal Genetice, Inc., 

Mustangs g-sire is Bionic Buckeroo.  He has only been used as a breeding stallion.  He is very easy to handle and good natured.
