This is a
primitive horse. Example
here.
I use a Stacy Mead pattern, with my own
variation. It is about 10 X 5 1/2", not
counting the legs or tail. It is made of heavy
muslin, painted and stained. It is stuffed with
local raw wool, or local ginned cotton,
whichever I'm working with. The legs are from
trees on our property. (I usually bring in a
whole pile of twigs in order to find 4 that
work!) The mane and tail are stained sissal. I have
also done him in chestnut or black pinto. I
could send a photo first, to be sure the person
was satisfied with him. He is $18, plus
shipping. I can take paypal.
